WTB’s October Schmai is at a Middle Eastern restaurant in Manlius on Tuesday, October 13 at 6:30 p.m., Diwan is the successor to both the restaurant BulBul in Liverpool and then a food truck. It features food inspired by cuisines of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.

The restaurant’s website reads that it is, “a place of gathering of friends and family… a unique dining experience for people to enjoy authentic food.” That’s just what a schmai is — we sample ethnic cuisines, support locally-owned eateries and share stories with WTB friends and meet new women.
If you’re a regular, help us expand the good work and friendships of WTB — invite a friend and join us for dinner — it’s a great way to introduce her to WTB.
Each person orders off the menu and pays herself. The local owners Kathy Edwan and Zaid Ghrayyeb would like to have a general idea of how many are coming, so if you plan to come and/or need a ride, please respond on this form: https://forms.gle/Qzh5LoF8RvQYGMVR9
The restaurant is located in a strip mall near Manlius Town Center at 315 Fayette St., Manlius.
