Here is another opportunity to learn more about other cultures and other countries. The CNY Rise Center invites WTB members to join them at an evening of hospitality and cultural heritage. The Rev. Suzie Harriff will be sharing highlights from her recent interfaith journey to the Balkans. The event is Wednesday, October 14 at 6 p.m. at the center at 275 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse.

The RISE Center began in 2017 by volunteers of the Turkish Cultural Center Syracuse. The goal of the center is to build relationship within communities through educational programs, interfaith events, culturall and religious programs and collaborative initiatives. It’s motto is “We RISE by lifting others.”
