Smita Rane, who has been involved in WTB since its early days –even while living many years in India before coming back to the U.S. — is designing our April program. It’s all about Indian culture and she’ll bring beautiful sarees for display and show us how to wrap a saree. We’ll also be able to sample finger foods and learn more about the culture of India.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 19 from 2-4. We’ll meet at our usual location, Jowonio School, 3049 East Genesee St, Syracuse. Park behind the building and come in that door. Feel free to bring finger food (doesn’t have to be a recipe from India).
