Eight women from the Syracuse Northeast Community Center on Hawley Avenue will comprise the next group for WTB’s sewing class. It kicks off on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 12:15. All the women speak Arabic and their caseworker will come with them to translate.
Jennifer Roberts Crittenden says that she needs one more teacher. Since this is a beginning class, and everyone helps each other, even a woman with basic sewing skills and a desire to help can be a teacher.
Jennifer says, “it’s a fun group.” Contact her at (315) 345 9217 if you’d like to give teaching a try.

and some have even entertained them in their homes.
