WTB Donates Baby Clothes to InterFaith Works for Local Children

Several people brought baby clothes to the Kinship and Kindness lunch in mid-November. The donations filled four large bags — various styles and colors, new and some gently-used.

They were shared with InterFaith Works Maternal Support Program. The clothes will go to families in our area. The InterFaith Works website examples that the organization is “affirms the dignity of each person and every faith tradition, builds racial and religious equity, and creates bridges of understanding among us.

Below you see Daryl Files and Jeanne Prouty smiling as they show off some of the clothes.

Cindy Rahle hosted the potluck lunch, followed by sandwich making and assembling snack/sweets bags for the food pantry and soup kitchen at Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Syracuse. The room was abuzz with chatter and the group ended up with 400 snack baggies and 347 sandwiches.
