Sadako and Origami Cranes
A statue of Sadako holding a crane above her head stands in Hiroshima Peace Park; the inscription reads: “This is our cry. This is our prayer. For building peace in the world.” In her memory, we worked together to make origami cranes symbolizing our hopes for peace.
Sharing Stories with Women of Different Faith Traditions
Table dialogues at the CNY Rise Center addressed questions: “Have you ever transcended a boundary?” and “What boundaries do you feel women have left to transcend?”
