Several hundred people enjoyed a festive afternoon of music and arts at a World Interfaith Harmony Assembly on Jan. 27, 2013 organized by WTB and InterFaith Works. This third World Interfaith Harmony Assembly was hosted by Holy Trinity/St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Parish in Syracuse on Jan. 27, 2013.
Singing, dancing, and readings sounded throughout the church for two hours. Groups representing various faith traditions participated in the program, including Baha’i, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, and Unitarian-Universalists.
Many of the presenters were youth, who demonstrated their commitment to understanding, recognizing and appreciating persons of all beliefs.
