WTB members will be sad to hear of the death of one of our most active foremothers, Molly King, 95, formerly of DeWitt, who died October 8 in Lennox, Mass.

Molly was instrumental in the organization’s beginning and coordinated WTB’s first International Dinner in an efficient and delightful manner, setting the tradition for years to come.
“I have very fond memories of Molly,” said Danya Wellmon, WTB’s co-founder. ” She had a great sense of humor and was a very compassionate and giving soul. “
The other co-founder, Betsy Wiggins, wrote about Molly, ” She was my first true friend when I moved here in 1995,. What a woman! I so clearly remember her beautifully wrinkled face, megawatt smile, eyes that saw everything, enormous energy and one of the most gracious dispositions I have ever had the privilege to know. She had such a keen wit and compassionate heart.”
A service in her memory will be set for sometime in the Spring. Those wishing to read more about Molly can find her obituary here.
