Eastern Farm Workers Association is turning to WTB to help it provide supplies and money to help the families of those detained or deported from the Cato food manufacturing company in the recent ICE raid in Cato.
Here are ways you can help:
- Gather juice and water for children; laundry detergent and dish detergent for Sunday, Sept. 21 distribution
- Buy diapers (2,3,4,5) or pull-ups (size 5,7) or diaper wipes
- Buy shampoo or deodorant
- Buy family-size portions of maseca corn flour, dried beans, tomato products, cooking oil, canned meat or shelf-stable meat (chicken, beef, pork), dried peppers, cumin seeds or powder)
- Give cash
- Collect supplies from friends
- Serve as a driver
- Network with EFWA to enlist other groups that could help
- Help translate.
