Submit a typed, double-spaced, two-page essay on the topic “Transcending Boundaries of Faith and Culture.” Explain how your beliefs, activities, and experiences reflect the interfaith and intercultural goals voiced in our mission statement below.
WTB Mission Statement: Women Transcending Boundaries, Inc. (WTB) is an egalitarian community of women coming together to respect and learn more about each other’s various spiritual beliefs, cultures, and common concerns. It is our intent to share our experiences with the wider community, to educate, and to serve.
Your essay should include at least some of the following:
- How would you describe your leadership skills?
- How have you helped build bridges between individuals of different faith and cultural traditions?
- How have you nurtured respect and understanding between diverse faiths and cultures in your school and wider community?
- What did you personally gain from these experiences?
