Convergence of Holy Days

In October of 2005, 2006, and 2007, the convergence of sacred times in several different traditions invites us to pray with or alongside each other and to work together for peace, justice, human rights and healing.

Religious Celebrations

We were treated to the sights and sounds of the celebrations of five different faiths, and after the meeting, we feasted on traditional foods prepared for ending the Ramadan fast.

Christian and Jewish women described their December holiday traditions, and a Muslim talked about Ramadan, which ends with the celebration of Eid al Fitr in December this year.
