Two women, one African and one white American, have been jointly and individually working to build bridges of respect, understanding and reciprocity between central New York and communities in Ghana.

Women described Chadwick Residence’s supportive transitional housing in Syracuse and Red Cross’s disaster services, particularly after Hurricane Katrina.
