So it makes sense that WTB gathers for a <strong>Festival of Sharing<\/strong> on Wednesday, December 11 at Jowonio School, 6-8 p.m.. Bring a dish from your holiday tradition and enjoy music, dance and storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One interfaith calendar lists these holy days:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>December 8 \u2013 Bodhi Day<\/strong>, when Budda is believed to have attained enlightenment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>12\/21 to 1\/1<\/strong> &#8211; <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Yule<\/span><\/strong>, when Pagans and Wicans celebrate the winter solstice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>12\/25 &#8211; <\/strong> The<strong> <\/strong>Christian celebration of <strong>Christmas<\/strong>, the day commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>12\/26-1\/1 <\/strong>&#8211; <strong>Kwanzaa<\/strong>, a time to focus on seven principles, Nguzo Saba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>12\/25 &#8211; 1\/2<\/strong> &#8211; Jews celebrate a festival of lights, <strong>Hanukkah,<\/strong> remembering the time in the second century BC when the Jews were able to reclaim their homeland and rededicate the Temple.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many faith traditions celebrate a holiday in December and most have a time of sharing, merriment and good food.
