We mark the anniversary of 9/11 with a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives. We honor them by giving back in our own communities, to make life and living better for our neighbors on A-OK! Acts of Kindness Weekend, on the weekend nearest 9/11.
When the terrorism occurred in 2001, we all wanted to do something. So it’s in that spirit that we go out each year to do something that makes a difference, something that builds a bridge.

In 2012 we observed A-OK! Acts of Kindness Weekend on September 8-9, with WTB women and others doing various projects including clean-ups, painting, and children’s activities.
Beginning in 2013, we have joined the Unity Church of Syracuse in their annual prayer service and vigil on the World Day of Prayer in early September.
